Moving to Makkah - is it safe and good standard life there?

Salam to all

Myself Heena, from India but currently living n working in London.I have met boy from Makkah and planning to get marries insh o taala.But I would like to know that it's easy for me to settle n live in Makkah? I am working in IT last 14 yrs. I do not mind leaving job and doing some thing from home.But is it safe and good standard life there ?

In terms of religious matters yes , there's no other place better than this but it often crowded because of聽 Masjid Al Haram, Living expenses are reasonable in Makkah and also the weather is far better than other cities like Jeddah etc. especially in summer. Accommodation-wise this city is also preferable.

You have met a boy ? Do you know him just through online or met him in person?

Coming from west you should be aware that you cannot drive and obligated to wear a burka (cloak) when stepping out, I'm sure that's not an issue for you if you are willing to move here for the sake of marriage.
