I have to wire/transfer money but do not have my iqamah yet to use bank services. Are there money transfer services in Jubail like MoneyGram or Western Union? If so, please provide location. Thank you.

Western Union does that. Someone from Jubail can help about the location. Btw, you can ask any colleague to transfer money using his account.

Thanks guys, as an FYI, I went to downtown Jubail (balad) and the Western Union was considered a service of the bank for account holders. It didn't operate as a stand alone service. They told me I had to open an account. I took your other advice and had someone send it for me. I really appreciate your replies.

Best way is to send via someone else

I have balance loan in SABB now the company terminate me with final exit visa. My severance awards and benefits was taken by the bank. Now after 4 years I came back in KSA and working with new company. I call the SABB to check the status of my balance loan. According to SABB I need to continue my payment of my balance loan. Why do I need to continue? as far as I know once you are terminated by the company you had no responsible with your balance loan.

Please advise.

The right way here would be to contact your ex-company and ask them for the payment records they had done against your loan. SABB will ask about the balance if the money they got is less than the amount you owed them at the time of job contract termination.

Hey I want to transfer money to india so guide me how to transfer money.

If you do not have a bank account, I would ask a friend who has an account to transfer the money through their account, and give them the money. Most, if not all, of the money transfer services provided in Jubail are connected to a bank and requires having an account. For example..., Western Union (Enjaz Bank), MoneyGram (National Commercial Bank/Al Ahli Bank, Tahweel AlRahji (AlRahji Bank)). There maybe one agency which only requires you to sign-up with them, independent of a bank account, but you will need a copy of your iqama/passport.

Basically how long for iqama and bank account opening process guys,tq for reply

Getting the iqama depends on the efficiency of your employer. Getting a bank account is done instantly once you have an iqamah. Just decide on a bank and go to the nearest branch. Make sure you have all of your docs with you to avoid having to return. And always keep passport size photos with you.
