new teacher in khobar

greenirish

Hey everybody,

After months of work I finally jet off to KSA tomorrow.

As a newbie I'd luv to hear from you all and take any advice you might have.

I'm particularly interested in getting involved in the social side of Khobar and getting to meet new people.

My e-mail is greenirishkiwi@hotmail.com if you prefer getting in touch that way.

I look forward to meeting as many of you as possible and having a great experience in Saudi Arabia.

Caoimhin :)

Always expect the worst and you'll sometimes be pleasantly surprised!

khobar is not as hot as Riyadh, and you came at the best time, because from now on it will be getting cooler

greenirish

that's good news, it's nice to be broken in gently :)

don't worry your unending unpleasant experiences should start soon. May be you look at someone in a way they don't like, or someone thinks you took a picture of a female. Have a good time

FYI I'm only joking

greenirish

haha, you had me worried there for a minute :)

Hi I have also signed up with Edu Experts and they suggested I go to Dammam as its the most liberal and the accommodation is of the highest spec, compared to other locations.

Which agency are you with. I should be in KSA hopefully in a few weeks time so be great to keep in touch.

Cheers

Imran

i have been told the same, the eastern region is less conservative by all accounts.

dammam isn't far from khobar at all, just up the road.

good luck with whatever stages you have left, hope it all goes smoothly

Where do you stay in Khobar? Looks like there's a lot of Irish in Khobar/Dhahran/Dammam. My boss is am Irish too! Hope you won't feel bored here or else you have to travel to Bahrain to socialize at least
