Now I'm in Guangzhou! Back in Riyadh this Friday

Aminstar2

Hello Mates,

I know it has been a while since I last signed in to EB.com and I miss you all. I miss reading you posts and comments.
Now, I'm at Guangzhou enjoying my time staying with a friend of mine. We have been to Shenzhen for 3 days.
It has been a unique experience being in a country like China. Now i thoroughly understand what it is to be the minority in a country. Being a non-Chinese and a Muslim is a minority here. My friend took me to places where I barely could see any foreigners other than the two of us.

I like it here. Since I have arrived here I have walked almost 150 Kilometer. Some days we walk 15-20 kilometers. I have been inn the Metro many times for the first time in my whole life. The weather is nice here, with maximum temperatures between 26-33 C. the people there seem to fear interacting with foreigners, though some were friendly.

I would say I have learnt a lot during the past 13 days.
I would like to visit this country again soon, probably at the Eid Al Adha holiday.

Riyadh, I'm back!

Amin

That is interesting. I am surprised to find the chinese people fear interecting with foreigners. I thought they were very hospitable and welcoming.
