Bringing Knives into Saudi Arabia?

I am on vacation in Singapore right now and I bought a couple of pocket knives. Can I bring them to Saudi Arabia in my check-in luggage.

I wonder why do you wanna bring it here. Can't you buy the same thing here?.

You might be able to. They might also open your bag and search it then ask you why you brought them. If they really want to make a big deal about it, they will confiscate them then have you a paper you have to sign saying you were caught with something prohibited and it will then go to the Ministry of Interior to determine if the goods can be released to you or sent back to the country your brought them from.
I would just buy them here, they sell pocket knives at all the camping stores.
