Salary advice and housing

I've just been given a job offer to work in Riyadh next month and they have stated that instead of separate payments for housing travel, etc I should combine it into one salary payment. Any ideas what the rough cost of a 3 bedroom place is in compound so that I have some idea of what to ask for and are there any other costs I should factor in? TIA

Prices are going down a bit these days, and it depends on location, but you should plan for 120k SAR per year for a 3 bed option in a decent compound

A 3 BHK in any decent compound would cost you a minimum of 150k/year and that's the lower end of the range. Goto: to check out the prices for some of the compounds.

Education is fairly expensive if you decide to send your children to an international school. It could be upwards of 50k/year/child. Prices are in Saudi Riyals.
