Thank you Christine!

The items to check in the contract are:

- Housing allowance / or Housing provided (if provided check its in a compound, if allowance you will need a minimum of SR 140,000 for western style compound)

- Family status

- Education allowance for children

- Transport - car provided / leased car / travel allowance

- Tickets back home (or cash equivalent)-how many exit-reentry visa's provided

- Holidays (annual plus Eid)

- Work hours and days (some companies do work Thursday - hence only 1 day off in the week, others have Thurs / Fri)

Hope the above help

Thank you! it is useful for me...but for 1 bedroom apartment in a compound  is so expensive?!(no children, only my wife...)

Yes compound s are very expensive, but they do have some facilities that you might not be able to get on the outside.

Your looking at around SR 100,000 for an apartment on a compound with good facilities.

Some compounds do not have wide range of facilities and they are cheaper.

Or you could consider an apartment outside of a compound,a 2 bedroom apartment in a decent area (unfurnished) is around SR 30,000.
