Employment contract in Riyadh

ChrisFebster

Hello All,

I have got an offer from a company in Riyadh. Offer seems fine. They have provided me with a draft copy of Employment contract with pay details and start date left blank.  I asked for the final contract for signing. But, they say I will sign the final Employment contract once I reach Saudi. Is this a normal practice there? Any help on this is really appreciated.

Regards,
Chris

To avoid unpleasant surprises, before coming to KSA, you must sign the original copy of your employment contract signed by employer authorized representative, bearing the stamp of company, and sticker from MOFA and Saudi Chamber of Commerce.

Thanks a lot red trumpet. I was told by them that it’s not common since my visa number has to go on it

90 days temporary visa with visa number must be stamped on your passport that is definite.

But employment contract is different thing. Your passport number must be appear in the contract as your identification number.

Thanks a lot redtrumpet. They almost fooled me

Still you have a lot of time to demand on it. As I have mentioned earlier, You MUST sign the original employment contract before start processing your visa and onboarding documentation.

I have emailed them already. Thank you so much for your help
