hi Harry,
welcome back, a friend of mine has done it a couple of years ago through the through the airport passport office. you need to visit with old passport and a new passport and explain it to them. not sure if it is still in practice or you can visit the local passport office, they just need to change status of in their system.

I shall try going to the airport office next week after the quarantine period.

It is a strange thing to happen as I even told the man that he hadn't taken her fingerprint on entry but he said it's fine and to go through.

I have kept the flight ticket as proof so I hope it is simple enough to sort out.

Hi Harry,
i am sure this was done to ensure smooth entry into the country and to minimize hassle. It can be sorted out easily as she is really inside the kingdom which can't be denied
