I am a British citizen and I have a Turkish fiancé. About 6 months ago we started the process of applying for her marriage visitor visa to the UK on advice from immigrationlawyers.co.uk (Alison Law solicitors). This week her application was refused and I am now trying to gather as much information as possible about how to move, even temporarily, to Turkey.

We rent a flat together in İzmir, I am applying for jobs but so far having no luck. I speak a little Turkish and she is teaching me almost daily.

So I hope you folks can help because the separation is doing my nut in and the bureaucracy seems impossible to navigate.

This is Eddie, I will be coming to Istanbul in the next two weeks from Jordan and I would appreciate any help from you men and ladies on how to live in Istanbul.
I am a businessman, the plan is to start a new business in Istanbul in a couple of months.
I would like to find a nice place to stay first, I don't mind to share with a family or one person (Male or Female), it makes no difference to me as long as I have my own room/bathroom.
