Variety in Ankara

Hi,

I'm from England I've been living in Ankara for 8-9 months now. I'm pretty settled in and didn't find it too difficult making friends as I have family here.

I do enjoy it here! I am getting in touch with my distant side.

Does anyone feel a bit drowned by limitations in variety here?

I am used to a multi-cultural metropolitan with different tastes, foods activities. Ankara is like the Washington of Turkey where as Istanbul is the New York!

For me Ankara is the best place in Turkey for making international and multicultural friendships, every week we gather in one place for food activities or chatting and learning new things.
