The minimum amount for inpatient treatment is 20,000 TL, while for outpatient is 2,000 TL.

The Ikamet office will guide you best the amount of insurance that you require alongwith where you can get it.

During residence permit applications please take note that, a health insurance policy is not required for ages under 18 鈥� above 65. These aged persons are medical protected under the law so all medical expences in hospitals are covered (free of charge) by the Turkish Ministry of Health.

It is important that the policy must have the expression of 鈥淭his policy covers the minimum coverage stipulated in the circular no 9, dated 06/06/2014, on private health insurance required to be taken out for residence permit applications鈥�.

Please present signed and stamped/sealed original insurance policy during interview For extension applications, attach only approved (sealed, signed) copy of your policy into your application file.
