I know stray animals are a problem in Istanbul and although it seems people like cats here, it just breaks me heart to see so many strays about. Anyway, this has to two with 2 stray dogs that live outside my apartment complex. One of the dogs seems to have a leg problem, but she is a beauty. I have seen a woman go out and feed and play with the dogs and they seem so eager for affection. I was wondering about reputable animal rescues in Istanbul? I can't bring the dogs inside, but I would try to transport them to someone who could foster them and adopt them out, or something like that. In a couple of months it will be cold and I really don't want to have to see these dogs suffer outside in the cold. Anyone have any ideas about good places for animal rescues?
