Sport in Istanbul

Hi, I'm an English 24 year old living in Kozyatagi on the Asian side of Istanbul.

I played so much sport in England but since moving here a month ago, have struggled a bit to find the same set up of a friendly game of football, basketball, etc. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places.

Does anyone know of any opportunities for a kick around or any other social sports play?

Hi Rob,

I have the same problem. Back in the Netherlands I used to do sports on a regular base, but here I only play once in a while.

Do you know the 'hali saha' (carpet) football fields??
