Hi. My name is Hanif, and I recently obtained my Emirates ID (after a lot of headache!) and am now apartment-hunting in Sharjah.

We had initially planned to relocate from the UK to Antalya (Türkiye) but that's been put on hold for a few reasons.

I'm here by myself initially, but my family will hopefully join me next year, God willing.

@hanif you have came at a time when the rents have drastically increased all over UAE including Sharjah, for apartment you need to tell what is ur budget because each locations in Sharjah has different price slab as per the locality

I'm a senior business leader with 18+ years of experience in strategic sales, GTM leadership, and advisory roles across the tech ecosystem. I most recently led some of the largest cloud and AI-led transformation deals in Asia for one of the top global cloud tech companies, driving multi-hundred-million-dollar partnerships with global SIs and high-growth SaaS players.

Originally from India, I spent over 15 years in London — where I also completed my MBA at Manchester — before relocating back in 2019. After an incredible run here, we’re now gearing up for our next big chapter in Dubai.

I’m currently in advanced discussions with a data center company to lead their Asia expansion as VP of Business Development, and expecting an offer after my final meeting with the founder next week.

We’re a British °µÍø½ûÇø family — my wife (who runs a successful interior design studio) and our two kids (8 and 11) will be moving with me. She’s also planning to expand her studio in Dubai to tap into the region’s booming residential and commercial growth.
