looking for jobs in the UAE, Dubai or Abu Dhabi

MegMcGadie

Hi! I am a British teacher looking for jobs in the UAE, Dubai or Abu Dhabi. I am also planning to come over with a teaching assistant who is looking for work too. A point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated for the teaching assistant?

Hello MegMcGadie,

Kindly note that i have created a new discussion on the Working in the United Arab Emirates forum so that you can get more information concerning job prospects..:)

I would suggest you to create your CV on Jobs in the United Arab Emirates so that potential employers might see.

There will be plenty of TA/LA positions within schools, the only issue is, whose sponsor is he/she coming over to AD on?

The best way to secure a TA/LA post is to visit the schools websites and they tend to advertise the "local hire" positions on their website or school newsletter, even better just go down and visit the schools face to face and I am sure she will be snapped up by a school.

What tends to happen with the TA/LA posts is that they tend to be given to spouses/dependents that are already working at the school as a teacher etc.

Hope this helps.
