Hi everyone,

I'm a young French student and I recently applied for a position in Corporate Development at Maseera Holding in Abu Dhabi.

First of all, has anyone heard of this company? It was recently acquired by an investment fund, and they currently don鈥檛 have a website or much online presence. I鈥檝e already had an initial interview with the HR representative online, and I鈥檒l be meeting the rest of the team in the coming days. However, I鈥檇 like to make sure this opportunity is legitimate, especially since scams can sometimes happen in the UAE. Are such scams common in Abu Dhabi?

They are offering a salary of 30,000 AED/month, with accommodation at my own expense. What do you think of that offer? Is salary really tax-free ?

The company is based on Al Maryah Island. Does anyone know the average monthly rent for a one-bedroom apartment near that area?
