Re-locating in Abu-dhabi with family of 5..is it worth it

Hello...my name is Josie....I have been considered for a teaching position in Abu-dhabi for this coming august2014....I have 3 children (12,9,8) and my husband...I was wondering if making the move there is worth it or not and if it will b difficult for my husband to find a job...I am very confused...help...anyone!

Hi Josie,

I'm a teacher here in AD. Something to consider before making your decision is that sending your children to school here would be expensive. I would Google some private schools and see how much it would be for 3 children. About your husband, I think it depends on what type of job your husband is looking for. From what I've heard, it is somewhat difficult for husbands to find work here and some don't find work at all.

Hi Josie,

I'm not yet in UAE and can't advice regarding school fees for kids but about your husband I think he can find job because I see loads of job announcements in various fields and he'll be resident with you and have much enough time to apply and decide for his own.
