Yes i Know.....but I m Greek, and here in Greece they offer my a job for 6 month for 1000e month!!!!!of course if you are a engineer ,........and you have a good life ,,,,,,,megabyte you find this very low salary, but In my case I really don t know what to do?

nicolastz

For sure I can t save money but can I live properly!!!!!

Venkat.Pisipaty

hey agree this could be a start for u...dont bother too much about this 'western' quality of life. Often western is a much abused term as it loses significance in today's times. If u are smart, you can quickly move your way up after putting in a couple of years & understanding how things work here in Dubai or for that matter in this region.
Just some friendly advice for a person who seems to have his head on his shoulders!

Hey mate I'm greek too, you will not like the life here with this amount of money. I know how it is back in gr but you got to trust me, don't take the offer and keep looking. You won't be able to change job also if you come here for 2 years with that salary you know that?

Do a better research and then decide.

Hi Nicolastz, i agree with Vassilis. Life is very expensive in Dubai and there is a lot of temptation to spend money. Besides that, having debt in Dubai is much more serious than in Europe so you have to be very careful. I would recommend to try and negotiate a better salary. You also need to bear in mind that accomodation is very expensive. Good luck with your research.

I agree with Frenchglobetrotter. Some professions can average Aed 15-20,000 a month (school & medical staff) but the accomodation is either paid for or provided. The only alternative is to find flatmates to keep the rental costs down.
