Can someone please give me advice with regards to where you can and cannot smoke in Dubai?

Can you smoke in public walking down the high street?

If an employer provides accomodation as per your work. Can you smoke inside the flat or would it be up to the landlord?

Do office buildings have smoking sections?

Public buildings are generally no-smoking inside (although some of the mall restaurants and coffee shops have smoking sections).

It's permitted to smoke in the street.

No smoking in public ANYWHERE (even in your car) during Ramadan daylight hours

The accommodation is up to your landlord. Most allow smoking.

Offices generally have an allocated smoking area outside.
