Breaking contract doubts - any fines to pay?!?

patricbabu

I work for a private company in Dubai. It's been around 4 months and I am not satisfied with my job. As per my contract my visa is for 2 years. My doubt is that if I break the contract , will I be asked to pay any fine? I am aware of the ban for 6 months. The thing that worries me is the fine, is there any way to resign by just getting the ban and returning to our native country ?

Hi,
If you are in the probation period, you are free to resign without any financial plications provided you have sufficient reason to quit.
If it is not in the probation period, the type of your contract will decide the rest.

Thanks

Are you talking about paying for the visa since you did not complete your contract?  Well, if it's about the visa you are not to pay. But it's better to double check with the labour before you resign.

And yes I'm talking about paying for the visa only !
