Homosexuality in Dubai

My girlfriend is thinking of working for Emirates airlines and would be based in Dubai. I would like to know the situation for lesbians in Dubai.聽 If I had the opportunity to visit her while she is out there what would the laws etc be regarding lesbians? How is this move going to affect us?

Homosexual activity is illegal, but of course is a fact of life as it is anywhere.

Discretion is the answer. Thousands of people visit and stay with a friend, some will be more than friends...

I don't see it much of an issue. I see girls walk hand in hand in malls and on streets. As far as you maintain the intimate relationship behind the closed doors there is absoulutely no issue in being a lesbian and having a girlfriend as a mate. I you need need further info let me know.

Hopefully the world will soon change. Discrimination against people just because they're gay may soon be outdated ... hopefully the Middle East experiences attitudinal changes soon.

The Journal Of The Gay And Lesbian Medical Association published a provocative theory in 2000 stating the following: homosexuality is natural in human beings, whereas heterosexuality is not! The theory's main conclusions are:
1. Humans do not possess a sexual instinct to engage in heterosexual intercourse.
2. It was the rise in intelligence during evolution that made us lose our sexual instinct.
3. Among other advantages the loss of sexual instinct made monogamy possible in a community setting.
4. Lacking a sexual instinct, neither heterosexuality nor homosexuality is genetic in human beings.
5. There are universal childhood sexual exploration behaviors that 聳 if not checked by society/parents 聳 have the potential to strongly bias the formation of a homosexual orientation development, over a heterosexual one, or a bisexual one.
6. Heterosexuals vastly outnumber homosexuals in the world only because societies, needing to maintain their populations, strongly discourage homosexuality while encouraging heterosexuality!
