Job opportunity in Dubai being a qatar resident post cancellation

Hello everyone, I recently got a job opportunity in Dubai. I am currently in Doha and planning to move to Dubai. I will be cancelling my Qatar residence permit and then move to Dubai. Will there be a problem with my visa.

Just got in touch with the immigration department for the same question.
Sorry to inform you that if you are national or resident from Qatar you are not allowed to request a dubai visa, not event a tourist visa

I think if your Qatari visa got cancelled there should be no problem. All you need to do is leave Qatar to somewhere else to fly to UAE.

As an extra precaution, call the UAE immegration to clarify before cancelling.
