Have you gone through GAMCA?  Have they marked you as FIT?

If they have, it should not be a problem.

But if you haven't come through GAMCA then it could be a problem.  Lung scars are a big issue here.  But again that depends on whether the scar is due to TB or not.

Pd07

Thanks for ur reply xTang.but I found out in Internet that "gamca" test in not required for uae.but still it's a matter of concern as I am ready to fly to Dubai in few days.so I am in plan to consult local doctors here in India.to find out any possibility of tb.

as I have already invested money for my travel ,it's very tense situation.any as of now only Internet is the way to find help for the situation

XTang ur the only hope.as ur the actively one.who reply n help people like me in proper direction

Waiting to hear from u

Look, GAMCA is required if you are coming from a country where you have GAMCA.  The flexibility is that you can come on a visit visa, do the medical in UAE and transfer your visa.

I would suggest to come here, do a test on your own expense and get a report.  If you see scars, get a quantiferon gold tb test done in a UAE lab.  If negative, then you can use that if there is any issue in the UAE medical.  If positive, then I would just forget about it and go home.

Pd07

Thanks for reply.
do they consider privately medical tests done in dubai for.uae residency visa.
or just they trust the test done in uae government clinic

XTang

They will consider the quantiferon but only if there is a doubt.  If they are convinced that it is a TB scar then they won't.  There is no clear set procedure in this part of the world.

I too had calcification(small) in right lung, got rejected by gamca. Gamca told me it is not TB, but according to their rules they have calcification in the list.so they had to reject me.what do i do now? they have not provided me the reports also. i checked in a  private hospital it is not a tb,can i submit the private hospital reports in the Uae embassy?

XTang

This has nothing to do with the UAE Embassy.   If you want to take a chance, get a visit visa to the UAE, go there and ask your employer to transfer it to a work visa.  Then the medical will be done in the UAE itself and if you pass, you will skip GAMCA altogether.

kishore93

ok thanks @xtang

kishore93

According to rule.Does the Gamca centre provide the candidates a medical report even if unfit? My center is not giving my unfit report.

XTang

Theoretically they should.  As the FIT report is provided so why wouldn't the UNFIT one be?

kishore93

Ok...my gamca centre said if unfit they wouldn't provide reports.i will check again

Shahanwaj Hussain

calcification in my lungs undar 4 mm what can pass uae medical please reply

XTang

Why asking here? no one here can tell you.  GAMCA will tell you once you test.   Generally any issue in the lungs is a big no no but there are exceptions.

@XTang

well I have calcified on my and and I tested tb and my tb report is  all negative   What happened in this cases  Please reply it’s very important to me

L Ghale

I have calcified on my lung and I tested TB all reports are Negative  and fine does it stop me from Getting jobs at UAE???

XTang

I have answered this many times. If its a new visa, then it can go either way ie they may diagnose it as old TB and deny visa..... Or don't diagnose it as TB and give you visa. No one can predict the outcome.

L Ghale

@XTang   I’m also having same problems now  I have done my  all tb tests at my country all is negative and good what about in this case ? Does  they except? My my visa ?

XTang

The tests in your home country do not matter.  The decision is based on the tests done in the UAE itself on arrival.
