Possibilities for a visa to work and live in Canada

ElodieCal

Hi,

I'm Elodie, I'm French, I live in California, and I'm planning to move to Canada.

I'm fluent in French, English, and Spanish. I worked in management, in restaurants, and in warehouses, and I am studying to be a yoga teacher. I have a lot of passions, reading, psychology, cooking, nature, trails, yoga, horse riding, arts...

I am checking the possibilities for a visa to work and live in this beautiful country.

Cheers,

Elodie

Hi Cheryl,

Thank you 綽

My favourite options are British Columbia, New Brunswick, or Quebec (but I read that for francophone immigration, Quebec is not possible). I just started the search for potential job opportunities.

Are you sure you read that right? I lived in Ottawa, on the Ontario/Quebec border for ~20 years up until I emigrated in 2017. The policy then was only francophone applicants were being considered.

You might try reaching out to member slowwhitefishigoh for confirmation of this.

Best of luck, and please take the time to let the forum know how everything works out for you.

Hi Aidan,

I read this on the website of Canada for immigration. I think is a new policy to have more francophone immigration in the other states.

Thank you
