I just spent my first year (and winter) in Calgary. Coming from the warm (humid) weather in Houston, I wasn't sure how I'd fare, but I embraced the winter and made it through just fine! I have traveled to Vancouver and the Kamloops area and hope to make it to Kelowna, Jasper and the Icefields this summer. I enjoy hiking, biking, skiing...everything that the nearby wilderness areas have to offer.
