Need help considering move to Calgary

My husband's company has asked him to consider a move to Calgary soon for a 3-5 year stay. The company's office is in the Foothills Industrial area near Ogden.聽 We were very intersted in having our son attend one of the Science curriculum driven schools in the Oakridge/ Cedarbrae area, he is 11. Does anyone have information on these areas or have recommendations?

I聮m Calgarian currently living in V.N. You might want to contact the 聭Calgary board of education聮 they could point you in the right direction. School will start late Aug or early Sept. It truly is a very beautiful city, very multi cultural. All are welcome and respected there. If you love nature and four seasons (esp.Winter) and have good attitude, so easy to adapt.

I am not familiar with the program but I found this site (abccalgary.org) and it might help. What I know of is that you聽 really have to be ahead of time in applying since many students are vying for a spot in various schools.
