Looking for flatmates / somewhere to rent/live in Toronto...

Hello all,

I'm moving to Toronto from Sydney, Australia for work at the beginning of January.聽 I will be working in the Chinatown area and I'm currently trying to organize a sharehouse/flatmates.聽 I'd joined the Canadian easyroommate site without much luck - I think because I'm looking for something too long in advance.聽 (Because once I get there I don't want to be wasting my savings on hotels/hostels)
If anyone could give me some advice, knows of a sharehouse that is looking for a flatmate at that time, or know of a good flatmate finder website, It'd be very much appreciated.
