I was wondering how people with diabetes manage their treatments in Mexico , are there all medications available like in US and Canada ? How is the cost compared to US and Canada ? Do you find doctors in Mexico聽 qualified and do they differ in their approach of treating diabetes from US ?

Hi Moreto,

People in Mexico manage diabetes the same way they do in other countries of the world. There is a very high incidence of diabetes in Mexico. There are board certified doctors in Mexico who are very well prepared to treat diabetes. In general, the cost for medications in Mexico is 1/2 to 1/3 of the cost in the US.
