Best route to go to Sydney and work within the City?

Hey guys,

I'm 18 years old and looking at moving to Sydney Australia next year and work within the city. What would people recommended to be the best route to go? I wanted to rent a flat in the city, but wouldn't be able to afford that by myself! If anyone knows anybody thinking of doing the same thing (ideally female).. please let me know and drop me a message!

I may not give you detailed help, but you can always share flats or space. There are dozens of postings of flats available for sharing. Usual rates are from A$150/week or lower.
