Indian moving to Australia(Sydney) for a job, need help/advice

Hi,
I'm Suresh currently working in IT industry in India, I'm leaving my job and moving to Australia(Sydney) on 17th March for better prospect. I would appreciate if i get valuable suggestions about following

1) what needs to be done moment get down from the flight
2) which place to suitable for accommodation to stay and search job( IT companies should be near by)
3) How to search for accomodation (Sharable/individual) anything fine.

Please help me on this.
