Hi, my name is Alexandra, I'm from Lisbon, Portugal and I'm new around here. Me and my husband are considering moving to New Zealand to try our luck and hopefully get settled there.

I'm still in the early stages of the process, just gathering information so far. It's a big step, and what scares me the most is the possibility of not finding jobs, and not being able to get a work and residence permit.

I was wondering if there might be other Portuguese guys and galls around here, either already in NZ or considering moving there as well, just to exchange opinions and experiences.
