Square footage of apartments in Brasil

I am about to purchase a pre-construction apartment in Villa Velha, in the state of Espirito Santo. I have been told that the typical apartment will be between 55 and 85 meters. Am I correct in guessing that I am looking at somewhere between 220 and 350 square feet?聽 John

55m2 is aprox 592 sq ft, and 85m2 is 915 sq ft

Each square meter is 10.7639 square feet.聽 One thing to keep in mind is the square meterage advertised for an apartment may account for areas that are not part of the private residence directly.聽 For example, the area of a deeded parking space may show up聽 in the figures you were given.聽 Here's an article that describes the various ways listed size of a residence is accounted for:
