Wise took four hours for a transfer on Monday. Usually it is instantaneous.

The US has FedNow, a Pix wannabe. I haven't used it.

11/08/24 My SWIFT transfers are available within minutes of being sent by my US bank.  They're converted and deposited in my account when I release them on my Banco do Brasil app, or on my computer.

I must confirm Wise is generally very quick for most of the transfers I do to other people but I am finding that it can take anything up to 24hours some times for if I request a transfer on a Friday it only arrives on the Monday - on a normal day i am waiting upto 4 hours for personal transfers - not sure why when other transfers are instantaneous

When I was using Wise (over a year ago, so it could be different now) I noticed that happening on weekends and holidays as well.  To address it, I always made sure to put in my request by Wednesday, as long as Thursday and Friday were business days all along the daisy chain, i.e., in my city, in the sending city, and in São Paulo.
