I know you'll really enjoy life in Perdizes. I worked there for quite some time at a school near PUC and know the area well. You'll find nearby Shopping Bourbon and West Plaza both enjoyable places to wander about and window shop, although the prices are rather steep. I'd recommend going into Lapa or even up to Pirituba for making purchases since you'll economize a lot in those areas.

Parque 脕gua Branca is a great place for a leisurley stroll, you'll probably enjoy feeding the fish and ducks in the fish pond too.

Don't miss the Mercado Central in Lapa, across the street from Terminal Lapa even if you're not out to buy produce it's just a fun place to wander about.

You would be much better off creating a new topic thread for your posting, since the OP is talking about the Perdizes neighborhood of S茫o Paulo you probably won't get any answers here. Salvador - BA is a long way away and many members there probably aren't going to bother to read this thread.
