How much of money can i transfer from聽 USA ,i am moving in August to Medellin to get my retirement visa and i already have a bank acct in banco Colombia .

I suggest that you ask your Colombia bank this question.

Note that USA banks may put limits on the amount being sent in any one wire transfer .. and this amount may vary according to the financial history of the wire sender.

I note that you are a USA citizen.

Keep in mind that the USA's FATCA compliance laws require that special tax forms be filed in the cases of any USA citizens who maintain foreign bank accounts that total over $10,000 worldwide on at least one day of the year.
