this popular-cars subject since the old

When I bought my then-new Chevy Sail

some years ago, a primary concern was

getting a car that was so popular and ordinary

in Quito that ne'er-do-wells would bypass it

and molestar somebody else's vehicle.

Due in part to parking space sizes -- often

smaller in Ecuador than one's original

country -- don't be surprised if your vehicle

gets nicked up occasionally.

I don't have all the nick areas restored.聽 It's not

a question of saving money.聽 I figure that a

popular car with a few nicks or scratches will

be less attractive to potential bad actors.

A dealership may impose outrageous

body-shop charges to restore a car's exterior

to its original look, so some investigation is

typically needed to find a reliable individual

or repair 迟补濒濒别谤听 as an alternative.
