Soo, before I left oz, people told me I should pack some Vegemite. Pshaw I said, I don't need to lug around a safety blanket in the form of a glass jar full of murky yeast extract! I'm going to experience a new culture, new foods- and surely vegemite won't be too hard to find; why after all it's readily available in South East Asia, surely Southy America is just the same but with better music??

So, here I am, in Cuenca Ecuador, and the sun seems to shine a little less bright, the (much better) music is drowned out by my brains incessant pleading for my favorite breakfast spread.

Please for the love of god, someone help me! Is there anywhere I can buy a tub of black gold in this otherwise perfect country?

Is the first time I ear this word 'vegemite" at first I though it was some kind of vegetarian stuff or some kind of drug.

So I search on Google and I found the truth and I'm really sorry to tell you that I never saw this product in Ecuador.
