Banking in Ecuador

Could someone share what bank(s) are USA friendly so I can set up an account?聽聽Thanks

I know that Wells Fargo has a relationship with Banco de Guayaquil, so you save on wire transfer fees.聽 Ck with your bank for any such relationships it may have with Ecuadorian banks.

Yes most bank in Ecuador are USA friendly, Banco Pichincha is 104 year old largest and most secure in Ecuador. You informaiton is secure and private.聽 When the economy crash here in 2000, they bought up a lot of Banks. Banco Guyauquil is also goo but not as strong.
You have to some here to set up a bank account or have a lawyer form you a corporation for about $1500.

Otherwise you do have to some here聽 to set up a bank account then you can wire money in. If you don't have a cedula , residency visa or a corporaiton you can only set up a savings account.
