To the best of my knowledge, yes.聽 The cost is controlled by the govt. There are both religious (mostly Catholic) and non denominational as in private, no religious affiliation.

Most schools are mixed, but there are a few Catholic schools that have been historically for males (Borja, run by the Jesuits) and several for females like the Catalinas.

There are also public schools.聽
