Canadian moving to Peru in June

Hello everyone!

I am currently living in Montreal in Canada, but starting June, I plan on moving to Lima and maybe eventually settle down in the country. But I am still looking for a job opportunity in Lima, and I was wondering if you had any tips for me.

First of all, I'm a programmer. I have been working for almost 10 years in the video game industry as a developper, and would like to find a programming job. Though I am open to leave the gaming industry for software developments.

But the problem I have, is that I'm currently learning spanish, and I am still far from being able to handle myself in the language, which means I would need to find a job that is mainly done in english.I hope I will be able to know enough of the language by June, but it probably won't be enough for working.

Is there ways for me to increase my chances of finding work other than saying I am currently learning the language when I am applying for a job opportunity?
