Getting certified copy of our marriage

Hello-

I happen to stumble on your forum and I need some guidance. I apoligize,聽 if I should be asking my question on a different forum.

My husband and I were married in 2000 on Margarita Island. I need to get a certified copy of our marriage certificate and have it apostilled.

Is there a way to do this? We live in America and I have not had any luck trying to find an answer on my own.
