Our son was born 2 months ago and we are unable to get a birth certificate due to us not being married at time of conception. I am American and she is Filipina. I have an appointment with the US embassy to get him registered as a birth abroad but I鈥檓 not sure if they will do it without a birth certificate.

my question is, even if I am able to get him a US passport with no Egyptian birth certificate, I understand that he needs some sort of entry visa stamp on his passport before he can leave? Is this correct? How can I obtain this? And how can I obtain it without an Egyptian birth certificate.
