Hi Sandra, I am really not sure about the post office in Hurghada. Is there no one in the uk that could deal with any mail for you?  The one thing I love in Egypt is not getting mail and having no letter box !

Hello Tim.  There is, but I just preferred to be done with it and get it sent out and not give my son the bother.

I know all bout the mail in Egypt lol!  On two out of four occasions I sent my daughter mail she never received it.

It looks like getting it redirected to my son and him dealing with anything I may have forgotten to notify.

How are you Tim? Well I hope.  I shall be glad when I'm there to  relax after all the stress of packing up my life into 3 suitcases.

Hi Sandra, I think you can register to have a post box at the post office. Just go there and ask them. Better to have an arabic speaking friend along

Hi Sandra, I am good thanks. I get stressed going to the airport with luggage until I am sat in the departure lounge. I have an irrational fear of being late for my flight every time I go far too early and I have never ever missed a flight in my life so I can't understand it really.  Once you are out there, I am sure you will love it.

Ha ha ha ha! Tim I know exactly what you mean, I am exactly the same as you, there hours before time, panicking at check in, only when I'm sitting on the plane can I relax.

I am just the same with appointments, work etc, always early.  I have never been late for anything or anyone.

You do not need to have your mail redirected to Egypt. It will never arrive unless you use DHL.

You should set up mail redirection with Royal Mail and redirected to a PO Box in the UK.

These kind of mail redirection companies, will scan your post at your request, and you will be abel to either keep, forward, or shred your mail online.
