Extend visa while in Liya

Hiya.
I need some advice how to extend my visa while i am in Libya..Orginally i came over to help a friend set up a college for Libyan students. I got my visa for 3mths from Malta and its due to run out.How can i extend my visa in Libya so i can stay another few months.

Hi,

As far as I know, it is not possible to extend.Exceeding 90 days will be fined.You will have to pay penallty which is around 100 Lyd on your exit.I guess you may pay at the airport.

Hi, overstaying at the moment is NOT recommended.... I would leave and reapply.

You need to go to the immigration office. With photos. Medical forms and money and hope for the best. Need a chest x-ray and blood test then if you lucky someone who knows someone who works there
