hi, we have purchased an apartment in Tamarin, and was considering the pro's and con's of either buying furniture there or shipping from South Africa. with shipping costs and time issues, i am really keen to purchase good quality furniture in Mauritius, however when i came over- i rarely saw any quality furniture in any stores, apart from electronic and white goods. we are not keen on melamine type furniture and would prefer more solid and well designed beds, sofas, tables, etc.

any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
