There are several placed you can go for hike.

The Black River gorges is one of the places with very nice trails with difficulty level of 5.5.

It is however recommended not to venture on your own.

I am also thinking about joining a group for hiking and photography. If you keen, we could hook up with a few other friends.

you should try the full day "Rando Fun" which they propose at Casela! I did that a few months ago and it was great!
They have the longest zipline in the Indian Ocean, you swim through a canyon, cross hanging bridges in 70m height, have a nice lunch in the middle of the forest... Really great!! and by far not as "touristy" as it sounds!!

Hi Looks like you are interested in rock climbing.  My husband and I were very keen climbers in SA (sports climbing) and have all our equipment here.  however, there are not much here ito climbing.  There are bolted routes in Albion under the light house, but the bolts are not reliable and top roping is recommended.  Stunning views and some sea starts.

I normally stick to Hikes and Trail runs from time to time. but these days the focus is Scuba and Deep Sea Fishing.
