Electrician and plumber

Has anyone had to do any renovation聽 that have required聽 an electrician or plumber.
It seems everyone is a professional until the job gets under way...then it's clear they are cowboys!
Can anyone recommend anyone?

Hi there.
Basically....Water pipes from pump to all rooms requiring water...basically separating water supply to two apartments. Install another pump.
Electrics to roof area which should have its own fuse box
I would want evidence that electrician and plumber are qualified and have the necessary skills to complete the work.
I would also need a full quote for the works prior to starting. We would purchase all materials required. Worker paid on completion.
Sorry if that all sounds a bit picky but we have been cheated on a number of occasions and so naturally are a bit wary not.

I just had water pump problem - and luckily found a plumber specialised in that - he's not expensive and did an honest job.

but for renovation works I go with Tetracon I had my share of cowboys.... being a single woman doing works here...
