Freelance, have to pay tax?

Hi all

I am considering moving to Cambodia.
I would like to work as a freelancer, like translator.
I am also thinking about running online shopping websites.

I just wonder if I have to pay tax to the Cambodia government.

Probably not if the money is paid to an offshore account.

If you come to Cambodia and offer translation services to Cambodian companies and individuals, I think some may ask if you are registered here and have a business licence, some may not be too happy if you are not registered.

If you have an online business and sell online from overseas then you should be okay and not be noticed.
