I've a question for you. I don't know if you can give me some advice on this.

I have a tourist visa which says that must be gap of 2 months between entries in India. And I want to travel to a neighbouring country for a few days and be able to come back.

Is there something I can do?

Apologies for the delay work kept me occupied.

Please ref to the understated link from the MHA, New Delhi it clearly explains you the move.

Here is what you are required to do.

" If any foreign national is required to visit the country again
within a period of 2 months of his last departure, such foreign
national should obtain special permission from the Mission/Post
concerned.  The Mission/Post may consider such requests on
merits of each case".
